But i'm working on it. According to alsamixer my soundcard is installed and working, but no software can use it. Sarge and debian-installer are great, I tested debian-installer first time ~year ago or something, now I have two servers and one desktop running sarge, today I think i'm going to configure one desktop more. Hope that you'll make it to stable as soon as possible. -- Markus [EMAIL PROTECTED] --------------------------------------- Received: (at 289480-done) by bugs.debian.org; 9 Jan 2005 13:17:27 +0000 >From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sun Jan 09 05:17:27 2005 Return-path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Received: from 195-240-184-66-mx.xdsl.tiscali.nl (elrond.fjphome.nl) [195.240.184.66] by spohr.debian.org with esmtp (Exim 3.35 1 (Debian)) id 1Cncwg-0005mX-00; Sun, 09 Jan 2005 05:17:27 -0800 Received: from strider.fjphome.nl ([10.19.66.11] ident=fjp) by elrond.fjphome.nl with esmtp (Exim 4.34) id 1Cncw4-0006Ix-Fx; Sun, 09 Jan 2005 14:16:48 +0100 From: Frans Pop <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: Markus Vuorio <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: Bug#289480: Package: installation-reports Date: Sun, 9 Jan 2005 14:16:53 +0100 User-Agent: KMail/1.7.1 References: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> In-Reply-To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1" Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Disposition: inline Message-Id: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 2.60-bugs.debian.org_2005_01_02 (1.212-2003-09-23-exp) on spohr.debian.org X-Spam-Status: No, hits=-6.0 required=4.0 tests=BAYES_00,HAS_BUG_NUMBER autolearn=no version=2.60-bugs.debian.org_2005_01_02 X-Spam-Level: On Sunday 09 January 2005 13:44, Markus Vuorio wrote: > I still have not managed to install my soundcard.. As this is not really an Installer issue and the installation was otherwise successful, I am closing this report. Thanks for submitting it. Good luck with getting sound working. > Sarge and debian-installer are great, I tested debian-installer first > time ~year ago or something, now I have two servers and one desktop > running sarge, today I think i'm going to configure one desktop more. > Hope that you'll make it to stable as soon as possible.
