Not quite true. Because of the module versions issue in the kernel / toolchain the window of opportunity to make changes to the manual in time for the CD's was opened drastically. As yet I don't think there is a new schedule for the next (final?) initrd build. The only thing that should still be discussed beforehand is major updates and restructuring. Also, the manual published on the official website under the release pages for Sarge will be updated periodically (even after the release). So especially small improvements are useful and very welcome ATM.
