the debian-installer CD still gives me a non-working USB keyboard. I used a:
http://gluck.debian.org/cdimage/testing/daily/sparc/20050103/sarge-sparc-businesscard.iso
This has been discussed in depth in following bug reports:
#278215: Package: installation-reports (USB keyboard not working on SunBlade 150)
and
#248855: Does not detect usb keyboard on SunBlade 150 (http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=248855)
The hardware configuration didn't change a bit since then. So everything posted
there (in the above bug reports) still applies.
Maybe this is related to the problem reported here, and maybe not. Anyway, the USB keyboard still doesn't work for me. And please keep in mind, that it was once working correctly (!) out-of-the-box, but now it's broken. No-one knows why...
Just a reminder.
