Well, the main installer page refers pre-RC2 for about a month now, but unfortunately the ports status page still refers to RC1, so this may have confused you. Reason is that the time between pre-RC2 and RC2 has been longer than expected and originally no need was felt to update the ports status page. Probably a bad decision in retrospect.
