Install stopped at partitioning: "No partitionable media found" Then tried i386 sarge with 2.4: Install got right thru to tasksel and got stuck. I installed gdm, gnome, x-windows-system with aptitude and then tasksel worked to get the rest of the Desktop stuff. Sound and network not working as reported (by Axel?) on debian-amd64 list yesterday. This is the system I am writing this on. Then downloaded sid-amd64-netinst.iso and tried to boot from the cd i made. Install got stuck again at partitioning. Tried booting with the hd=stx bla bla option to see if that would work with the Seagate hd. Got stuck at partitioning again. Do I have to put hd=st380013as or is it OK to put hd=stx??? -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
