Specifically, I'm setting d-i mirror/http/proxy string http://web-proxy.rose.hp.com:8088/ in my preseed file. The value is getting copied to config.dat, but apt-setup doesn't seem to be honoring it. Not sure how I can debug this further. Tested using the netinst iso from http://cdimage.debian.org/pub/cdimage-testing/sid_d-i/i386/20041102/ Thanks, Paul. --------------------------------------- Received: (at 279590-close) by bugs.debian.org; 5 Nov 2004 19:24:34 +0000 >From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Fri Nov 05 11:24:33 2004 Return-path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Received: from newraff.debian.org [208.185.25.31] (mail) by spohr.debian.org with esmtp (Exim 3.35 1 (Debian)) id 1CQ9hJ-0003qo-00; Fri, 05 Nov 2004 11:24:33 -0800 Received: from katie by newraff.debian.org with local (Exim 3.35 1 (Debian)) id 1CQ9a3-0000ek-00; Fri, 05 Nov 2004 14:17:03 -0500 From: Joey Hess <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Katie: $Revision: 1.51 $ Subject: Bug#279590: fixed in base-config 2.55 Message-Id: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sender: Archive Administrator <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Fri, 05 Nov 2004 14:17:03 -0500 Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 2.60-bugs.debian.org_2004_03_25 (1.212-2003-09-23-exp) on spohr.debian.org X-Spam-Status: No, hits=-6.0 required=4.0 tests=BAYES_00,HAS_BUG_NUMBER autolearn=no version=2.60-bugs.debian.org_2004_03_25 X-Spam-Level: Source: base-config Source-Version: 2.55 We believe that the bug you reported is fixed in the latest version of base-config, which is due to be installed in the Debian FTP archive: base-config_2.55.dsc to pool/main/b/base-config/base-config_2.55.dsc base-config_2.55.tar.gz to pool/main/b/base-config/base-config_2.55.tar.gz base-config_2.55_all.deb to pool/main/b/base-config/base-config_2.55_all.deb A summary of the changes between this version and the previous one is attached.
