Hi Wiktor, Sorry! I was not aware of your previous bug, so I didn't notice the problem. I also don't have USB ports on any of my Ultra machines so I could not have tested this anyway.
So, a few questions: * on your 20040511 image, what version of kbd-chooser is being used? look at /var/lib/dpkg/status on the ramdisk. * does the keyboard work at ANY stage during the install?
