This is not a Debian Installer bug. Localization-config should have taken care of that. However, you mention you were prompted for keyboard layout and entered "sl". However, the keyboard layout for Slovenian seems to be "si" according to localization-config data. Please try to "dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xfree86" and use "si" instead of "sl".
