when using kernel 2.6.8 (debian package), I found out that the cdrom device is not found and that discover don't create cdrom mount points and simbolic links.
when booting, this message appears: Fatal: ide_detect module not found. maybe it can be a module don't loaded, because in my 2.6.7 kernel compiled from kernel.org discover functions perfectly attached my .config tanks by attention -- | | | Éverton Didoné Foscarini | foscarini |a| gmail |.| com
