Comments/Problems:
If I select the following modules: *ide-cd *isofs *ide-detect *ide-disk Then the CD is detected without a hitch. (brief progress bar with "scanning your cd" then "cd-rom detected") If I add the "piix" module then the machine hangs. This happens with 2.4 and 2.6
Only 2 ide devices: *hd ST38421A *lg cdrom crd 8400c following ide driver is installed by win 98 *82371AB/EB PCI bus master ide controller
