These packages provide a reasonably small but not too limited
character-mode system. This is what will be installed by default
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
if the user doesn't select anything else. It doesn't include
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
many large applications.
Bug reports on tasksel cannot change the definition of standard, and will
not change its handling of standard priority packages. If you dislike
some package being in standard, get it fixed. If you dislike the policy,
get _it_ fixed and tasksel will follow.
