Package: grub-installer Severity: wishlist Version: d-i pre-rc2
During an install of d-i pre-rc2, I installed using only one partition: / /dev/hda2 When prompted, I chose not to install to the MBR. The next screen, asking what parition I wished to install GRUB to, had an empty text field. In this case /dev/hda2 should have been the default. In general, when the user chooses not to install to the MBR, it should always be possible to suggest a reasonable default, either the partition for / or for /boot.
