This is covered in Appendix B currently: http://d-i.alioth.debian.org/manual/en.i386/apbs02.html There is a clear link in para 6.3.2.1 to this appendix, but maybe something like "You can also find information about the recommended minimal size for partitions in this appendix." could be added.
