Package: Debian-installer Version: RC1 card decks, whatever's on ftp.debian.org on 20041015 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
If you try to install, using the Debian-installer RC1 boot card decks, from ftp.us.debian.org (on 15 Oct 2004), d-i tries to install the s390x kernel. Since this is on an s390 system (31-bit) rather than an s390x system (64-bit), installation fails pretty gruesomely. This means that no one on an S/390 system can install. That's bad. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.6-1-686-smp Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
