merge 267727 274926 reassign 267727 partman thanks This is really a problem with either partman or aboot, not aboot-installer. It seems that when a full 8 slices are specified from the partitioner, a "phantom" 9th partition appears. Since this is reported in the output of fdisk itself in at least one bug report, I suspect this is an error when partman writes the disklabel, not a problem with aboot when reading it.
