This machine has a NIC that's driven by the bmac module. During the partitioning phase, I was informed that I didn't have and that I would require a New World boot partition, but I was given no tools with which to create one. It turns out that this is a function of mac-fdisk, to which there appears to be no interface in the installer. Ultimately, the only method of creating this special partition is to drop to a console and run mac-fdisk manually. Other than that, plain sailing. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: powerpc (ppc) Kernel: Linux 2.6.8-powerpc Locale: LANG=en_GB, LC_CTYPE=en_GB -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
