Yes, I was aware of this while uploading 1.30. For Example, Well, this would mean having it in the initrd, as we don't have access to any archive either CD or network at this stage. As l-c implies other packages it depends upon, I'm not sure this is possible. One solution could be changing the order of prebaseconfig scripts....but it's likely to break other stuff. Ifsomeone has a better idea, it's welcomed.
