Hi there,

When one is configuring the partitions he is asked about where to mount each
partition and with what flags. So I set /var to have nosuid, nodev, noexec
flags.

The installation failed a little latter because the installer could not
execute scripts from /var. This is not a problem of the installer but it
would be nice if it was displaying an error message when trying to mount /var
with noexec.

If you could have a small tmpfs mount to exec scripts from there, it would
also be possible to have /var mounted with the noexec flag too.
