It turns out that rc1 of the installer had 2 out of 3 sparc CD images broken and corrupt. I don't know which you installed from, but unless it was the businesscard image, that probably explains this.
We belive that this is fixed in the current daily builds of the
installer, but we've so far been unable to check. I'd really appreciate
it if you could check, and let us know if they work. The daily builds
can be downloaded here:
