Package: debian-installer Severity: wishlist I used to use Debian Woody's boot CD as a rescue CD.
I remember that the 'tar' command supports '-c' parameter in Debian Woody's boot CD, so that I can use it to backup my files, like the files in '/etc/' or whole '/'. But I find that the '-c' parameter is not supported by 'tar' command in Debian-Installer. Please consider to support it. Thanks in advance. -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.4.26-1-386 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=zh_TW.UTF-8 -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
