Package: debian-installer
Severity: normal

This is being reported from my laptop, as the other machine, exhibiting
the bug is running the debian-installer.
This was experienced with beta4.
I selected the option to manually partition my drives, as I have a
rather complex drive setup. I will describe it briefly, as it aides in
understanding the bug:
IDE1 master: 60GB
        part1: fat32. Windows, 30GB
        part2: ext3. Fedora, 10GB
        part3: bfs. Zeta, 10GB
        part4: ext3. Archlinux, 10GB
IDE1 slave: 60GB
        part1: ext2. /boot, 75MB
        part2: ext3. Debian /, 10GB
        part3: swap
        part4: ext3. /home, *GB

So, I intend to install onto slave, part2 (or hdb2). Within the
partitioning wizard, I select slave, part2, and set up how I want it
partitioned. Format, ext3 filesystem, / mountpoint.
When I select Done with partition, it puts me back at the updated
partitioning setup, but instead of having hdb2 modified, hda2 is set to
be formatted. This is not expected behavior. I can however, select hdb2
to be edited again. I go through the same steps again, to set up hdb2 as
the root filesystem, and when I'm taken back to the setup display, hdb2
is edited correctly! I can then select hda2, and set it back to not
being used. Beyond that, the partitioner behaves like expected.
I hope this description makes sense. Its probably a rarely encountered
bug, but a bug nonetheless.
