The modules was not loaded at boot. So I tried to include the following line at /etc/modules: pppoe Now it "seems" to work "most of times". I realized that it try to connect for about 1 or 2 seconds then give up. The previous pppoe tried a lot before giving up. Sometimes for minutes. Well, is it a d-i problem or a pppoeconf problem to include the module loading at boot time? What is the right file to include it? Thanks André Felipe
