Package: network-console-config Version: 0.0.3 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
I have a problem with the /etc/init.d/networking script that fail to start after I had tried to change the ip address several times to configure the connection to internet setting eth0 with my new public ip. After then the only way I can use to bring up my network is to use the ip command via a script named "mynetworking" that I put in /etc/init.d/ (i.e. 'ip link set eth0 up' and so ...). So when I see the network-console-config script I hope I can reconfigure from ground my network and put-away my network script but it seems does not to work. Thank you in advance. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.7-1-k7 Locale: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] Versions of packages network-console-config depends on: ii base-config 2.38 Debian base system configurator ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.4.30 Debian configuration management sy ii ssh 1:3.8.1p1-7 Secure rlogin/rsh/rcp replacement -- debconf information: base-config/menu/network-console: -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
