It seems that the core of this bug is if anything, a linux kernel bug and should be reassigned to there. OTOH, it may not be a bug at all. I don't understand Josh's suggestion to use sata_sil instead of siimage. Are we loading the wrong module there?
I'd like to get this bug reassigned to the appropriate package(s), whatever they may be. -- see shy jo
