Bahaha.... touche'.   I didn't know that image was moldy.  (I was 
puzzled by the use of a 2.2.x kernel, however.)

http://gluck.debian.org/cdimage/testing/sid_d-i/i386/current/sarge-i386-netinst.iso
which uses a much newer kernel and much newer everything.
 

Um, should I be concerned about the "sid" in that URL?   I've read the 
'sid' FAQ.
