Package: base-installer Severity: wishlist Tags: patch With this patch, base-installer will create the necessary ubd devices so that UML can boot from the installed system. They are not created by debootstrap or makedev by default, so they will not exist unless explicitly created. Behaviour with the patch is only different if the installation is happening under UML.
