From a previous discussion – attached below… Given that the error can be hunted down and corrected, what
is a person to do with a computer that apparently won’t boot from HDD,
floppy or CD? It seems I’m stuck here with a failed installation!

You can check after getting the error with printenv and looking at boot-device. I'm assuming this is an oldworld model? If you need to reset that, type setenv boot-device /pci/mac-io/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/[EMAIL PROTECTED]:0 You might also be able to shorten it with an alias, try devalias to see what it says. -- *------v--------- Installing Debian GNU/Linux 3.0 --------v------* | <http://www.debian.org/releases/woody/installmanual> | | debian-imac (potato): <http://debian-imac.sourceforge.net> | | Chris Tillman [EMAIL PROTECTED] | | May the Source be with you | *----------------------------------------------------------------* -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
