However, I now see that rm'ing dpkgs might be a debootstrap thing. I'm still not sure why we're installing a mailer (and other such things) though. I'd love to install from CD, however this machine has not got a CD drive (actually, I stand corrected. it has a drive from God knows how many years ago. the drive cannot read CD-Rs.)
