Can you start the installer again, do the hardware detection, then open a shell on alt-f2, and check if /proc/net/dev contains an entry starting with "eth0". This would mean that the card was recognized properly and used by Linux. If this is the case, you should be offered network configuration. Hmm, hold on, you say you used: > Debian GNU/Linux testing "Sarge" - Official Snapshot i386 Binary-1 CD (12/06/204) Is this a full (600 MB) CD or was this the netboot ~120 MB CD?
