I booted with "linux noapic nolapic" to avoid my machine hanging. (I'm not sure whether this is still necessary - bug #237710 is marked as done but the patch to fix it doesn't seem to be present in kernel-source-2.4.26.) Unfortunately the USB modules weren't loaded so it didn't find the USB drive or the ISO located on it. When I loaded them by hand ("modprobe ehci-hcd; modprobe usb-ohci") it found the ISO properly. I didn't go any further, maybe I'll try it again later. --ReaqsoxgOBHFXBhH Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" Content-Description: Digital signature Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.4 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFAwtuul1rlvh2uVnMRAgoAAJ9QNfF7wSWyDk3vRfcDOzH53tyK0gCePz3H hv26Kysj2pI4iRMMoPKV2gM= =yVke -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --ReaqsoxgOBHFXBhH-- --------------------------------------- Received: (at 252962-close) by bugs.debian.org; 16 Jun 2004 18:38:04 +0000 >From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Jun 16 11:38:04 2004 Return-path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Received: from newraff.debian.org [208.185.25.31] (mail) by spohr.debian.org with esmtp (Exim 3.35 1 (Debian)) id 1BafIR-0006xf-00; Wed, 16 Jun 2004 11:38:04 -0700 Received: from katie by newraff.debian.org with local (Exim 3.35 1 (Debian)) id 1BafCe-0006Yj-00; Wed, 16 Jun 2004 14:32:04 -0400 From: Petter Reinholdtsen <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Katie: $Revision: 1.49 $ Subject: Bug#252962: fixed in discover1-data 1.2004.02.08-8 Message-Id: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sender: Archive Administrator <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Wed, 16 Jun 2004 14:32:04 -0400 Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 2.60-bugs.debian.org_2004_03_25 (1.212-2003-09-23-exp) on spohr.debian.org X-Spam-Status: No, hits=-6.0 required=4.0 tests=BAYES_00,HAS_BUG_NUMBER autolearn=no version=2.60-bugs.debian.org_2004_03_25 X-Spam-Level: X-CrossAssassin-Score: 2 Source: discover1-data Source-Version: 1.2004.02.08-8 We believe that the bug you reported is fixed in the latest version of discover1-data, which is due to be installed in the Debian FTP archive: discover1-data-udeb_1.2004.02.08-8_all.udeb to pool/main/d/discover1-data/discover1-data-udeb_1.2004.02.08-8_all.udeb discover1-data_1.2004.02.08-8.dsc to pool/main/d/discover1-data/discover1-data_1.2004.02.08-8.dsc discover1-data_1.2004.02.08-8.tar.gz to pool/main/d/discover1-data/discover1-data_1.2004.02.08-8.tar.gz discover1-data_1.2004.02.08-8_all.deb to pool/main/d/discover1-data/discover1-data_1.2004.02.08-8_all.deb A summary of the changes between this version and the previous one is attached.
