I'm just getting back to trying to update the target machine, so this comes at a good time. I downloaded the beta images about a week ago from the link on www.debian.org/devel-debian-installer and wrote them to floppies, but haven't spent much time on testing yet. Should I test those, or grab a new set from the URL you stated, or download a daily build? > > 2. There were difficulties in loading the correct kernel module for the > > AHA1542 SCSI host adapter. It wasn't automatically loaded on the test run last weekend. I had to issue a modprobe command to load it. There was no list of available modules, either, so I just had to know the name of the module I needed. > > 4. Well, I'm no authority on how this works. But the latest http manual on the d-i site does give instructions now. > > 6. It didn't earlier. (The Libranet floppy installer has the same problem.) It might be changed now. I'll test carefully and take some notes. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
