I have not been able to configure my net-card in 98 or RH7.3 either. I managed to make base-install and then configure network using parallel cable to my proxy. >From then on netinst went slowly, but reliably. My hard-drive is hdc, CDR is hda and CD is hdb. I thought this was unusual. CDR worked fine at first, but now after some apt-get update + upgrade rotations it doesn't. I have no idea, why this happened. --------------------------------------- Received: (at 234497-done) by bugs.debian.org; 27 May 2004 14:57:30 +0000 >From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thu May 27 07:57:30 2004 Return-path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Received: from sorrow.cyrius.com [65.19.161.204] by spohr.debian.org with esmtp (Exim 3.35 1 (Debian)) id 1BTMK2-00019Q-00; Thu, 27 May 2004 07:57:30 -0700 Received: by sorrow.cyrius.com (Postfix, from userid 10) id 1A1EB64D3D; Thu, 27 May 2004 14:57:30 +0000 (UTC) Received: by deprecation.cyrius.com (Postfix, from userid 1000) id C8AD410038; Thu, 27 May 2004 11:20:13 -0300 (BRT) Date: Thu, 27 May 2004 11:20:13 -0300 From: Martin Michlmayr <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: Pasi Juvonen <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Cc: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: Package: installation-reports Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> References: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Disposition: inline In-Reply-To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> User-Agent: Mutt/1.5.6i Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 2.60-bugs.debian.org_2004_03_25 (1.212-2003-09-23-exp) on spohr.debian.org X-Spam-Status: No, hits=-3.0 required=4.0 tests=BAYES_00 autolearn=no version=2.60-bugs.debian.org_2004_03_25 X-Spam-Level: * Pasi Juvonen <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> [2004-05-27 08:18]: > No problems ever since - everything works like a charm. :) Good, closing this bug. -- Martin Michlmayr [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
