I'm going away for a conference now for a few days, and it would be good if some udebs could be pushed into testing in the meantime, so I (and some other people I asked) can do an installation of testing when I come back. All of these have been well-tested and should definitely be part of rc1.
I'm grouping udebs which have to move in together: lvmcfg 0.30 partman-lvm 15 partconf 0.30 This adds _much_ better LVM supports. It fixes many bugs from beta4, fixes the broken LVM support under 2.6 and moves to LVM2. I've thoroughly tested these modules, as have some other people. (Note, the new lvm2-udeb is not needed, although it won't hurt. The new partman is not needed either.) [Note that CD images will have to include lvm2-udeb and lvm2 rather than lvm10-udeb and lvm10.] partman-ext2r0 0.02 This adds support for the ext2 revision 0 file system which is required on some machines to boot. Without this package, MIPS based Cobalt machines don't work. With this package, I have had 100% successful installs on Cobalt. This package is only available on arm/netwinder and mipel/cobalt, so shouldn't break anything. I've tested it on both platforms, and I think I tested all code paths. A user also tested it and it works (#248047). partman-md 9 mdcfg 0.18 partman-md is currently missing from testing which means that mdcfg in testing is not actually callable... also, mdcfg 0.18 has one important (tested) change. This is needed to have Software RAID for rc1 which lot's of people want. -- Martin Michlmayr [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
