Nonsense. hw-detect-full depends on nothing but cdebconf-udeb and hw-detect. hw-detect depends on discover. discover1-udeb provides discover and depends on libdiscover1, which is provided on the initrd appropriatly reduced against it. This is a bug in libdebian-installer which has been made too strict to work with d-i, and was apparently not even tested. There is no possibly change in hw-detect-full that can fix this bug. There is exactly zero chance that libdebian-installer will *ever* reach testing in its current state. -- see shy jo
