I guess I just find the current partitioning tool a little bit awkward because I cannot see the entire system at once, I'm forced into a tree-like page structure that I find constraining. What I like about tools such as fdisk is that I'm in a flat structure and can view everything and perform any operation from any other state. Have you looked at the partioning tool in recent Fedora builds? It's ugly, but I find it to be a good compromise between the raw power of fdisk and the cuddly goodness of the current wizard (which is a bit of a pain if you already know what you are about) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
