I'm sorry to report that that did not work.  Installing from a serial 
console I tried both Beta4 netstall.iso dated 30 Apr 04 and 
businesscard.iso dated 02 May 04.  Both of them still panic in the same way.
After the NET4 line
sh-2021: reiserfs_read_super: can not find reiserfs on ramdisk(1,0)
Kernel panic: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on 00:00
Press L1-A to return to the boot prom.
