I can reproduce this with the beta4 netinst in vmware. md5sum -c finds a problem with the md5sum of README.html, but no other problems. cdrom-checker tries to use md5sum -c, which is not supported by the build of busybox used by d-i. So there's a bug in busybox, and a problem with our CDs for having README.html modified after the md5sums are created. -- see shy jo
