Package: rootskel Severity: normal Tags: d-i In bug #243011, one of the problems turned out to be because a script tested for $initrd, without always setting it, and $initrd is set in the environment from the kernel boot. I think that rootskel should clear most or all such envrionment variables, to prevent strange behavior. It would probably be best to do it somewhere in init.
