Debian-installer isn't even advertised as being functional ATM. You
stumbled upon a buggy version -- but that's normal, because it's an
installer which is still under development. In such a case, it's normal
that things break.
Please be productive about this instead of starting to yell, and file a
bugreport, so that it will be addressed and that debian-installer will
be functional when it is finally released. Thanks.
