Package: installation-reports Debian-installer-version: netinst ISO date: 09-APR-04 from http://gluck.debian.org/cdimage/testing/sarge_d-i/sparc/current/sarge-sparc-netinst.iso modified so the silo.conf contains the right boot parameters
Method: boot from cdrom, starting normal priority, later switched to expert mode Machine: SPARC Classic (sun4m) Processor: Memory: 16 MB This time, I did the partitioning manually and also deleted lots of stuff (reiserfs, xfs, partman and more) from the ram disk. Only fault: empty fstab in /target/etc. Presumably I have deleted a little too much ;-) But I realized and fixed this before reboot, so the installation continued after reboot. So now I got a Sparc Classic running sarge :-) Actually, it is not running but crawling! Cheers Herbert -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
