Base System Installation Checklist: Initial boot worked: [O] Configure network HW: [O] Config network: [O] Detect CD: [ ] Load installer modules: [O] Detect hard drives: [O] Partition hard drives: [O] Create file systems: [O] Mount partitions: [O] Install base system: [O] Install boot loader: [O] Reboot: [O] Comments/Problems: Unfortunately I did not write down the error messages. The inittab entry for tty1 was respawning too fast, so I replaced it with /sbin/getty 38400 tty1 and re-inited with "init Q". The error message was related to the localization of the console for iso-8859-15 that did not work. This happened during the secund run of the initial installation of selected packages (during first run /var/cache/apt/archive was full before installation, so I had to symlink it to a bigger partition). -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.4-1-686-smp Locale: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
