Is there any particular reason why netcfg maps 127.0.0.1 to the hostname in /etc/hosts? I.e.:
127.0.0.1 myhost localhost This makes reverse lookups quite confusing, as you expect 127.0.0.1 to be mapped to localhost, not to the hostname. I know that GNOME and possibly other programs need to be able to resolve the hostname, but isn't it better to define it as an alias in that case: 127.0.0.1 localhost myhost -- Pelle -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
