Yes. partman-palo makes parted to think that palo partitions are linux-swap (an arbitrary choice). This is controlled in partman-palo/parted_names/palo. LVM partitions are also linux-swap. However at present partman-auto doesnt support palo partitions because at present there is no way to set the palo-flag for the palo partition (this is not difficult to be fixed).
