Base System Installation Checklist: Initial boot worked: [O] Configure network HW: [O] Config network: [O] Detect CD: [O] Load installer modules: [O] Detect hard drives: [O] Partition hard drives: [E] Create file systems: [ ] Mount partitions: [ ] Install base system: [ ] Install boot loader: [ ] Reboot: [ ] [O] = OK, [E] = Error (please elaborate below), [ ] = didn't try it Comments/Problems: Wanted to install sarge on hdb only. hdb2 swap hdb3 /boot hdb5 / hdb6 /tmp ... No changes on hda and hdb1! Partitioning was done earlier, so I intended to assign the mount points (as described above) only. Note, that both hard disks (hda and hdb) are identically partitioned. I assigned (for instance) /tmp (with reiserfs) to hdb6 but in the resulting partition list hda6!!! was assigned to /tmp. Maybe the identical partitioning of the hard disks causes the problem. At this point I stopped installation. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
