After a lot of hassle, I was able to use Apple's System Profiler to dump some info on the machine to a text file and copy that file to my desktop:

Hardware Overview:

Machine speed: 1.333 Ghz
Bus speed: 167 MHz
Number of processors: 2
L2 cache size: 256K (times 2)
L3 cache size: 2MB (times 2)
Machine model: RackMac1,2 (version = 3.3)
Boot ROM info: 4.6.3f1

PCI:

SLOT-C:
Card Type: scsi-2
Card Name: ATTO,ExpressPCIProUL366
Card Model:
Vendor ID: 1000
Device ID: 21
ROM#: 1.6.6f0
Revision: 1

Hard Drive:

Disk Size: 172.55 GB (1K = 1024) 186 GB (1K = 1000)
Device Serial: VNVF33G6G71RLT
Unit Number: 0
ATA Device Type: ata
Device Model: IBM-IC35L180AVV207-1
Device Revision: V2FBA63A

I am a bit at a loss here. Is this IDE or SCSI? Does not help that the documentation is not around (we are moving and just the server w/o any docs or cds was delivered to me) ;)

I'll give tonights build another spin tomorrow...

Regards,

Pepijn Oomen.
