What's > the best way to get LILO with current d-i? You went back from the final screen before rebooting. Problem is that at that screen it has already unmounted /target. The best thing to do currently is to go back from previous screen that asks for the device to install grub to. Or use expert mode. I think it would be better if prebaseconfig waited to unmount the filesystems until after the final question. This would avoid this type of confusion. It must be done with care though. --=20 see shy jo --l0l+eSofNeLXHSnY Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" Content-Description: Digital signature Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.4 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFAUKOFd8HHehbQuO8RAgJPAKCHtClPDmebtmXqs6RAyOVL3qVLGACgnEDW h52H49ZUZSnpPtSqEbSydTU= =YOoO -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --l0l+eSofNeLXHSnY-- --------------------------------------- Received: (at 237467-close) by bugs.debian.org; 20 Mar 2004 18:38:02 +0000 >From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sat Mar 20 10:38:02 2004 Return-path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Received: from newraff.debian.org [208.185.25.31] (mail) by spohr.debian.org with esmtp (Exim 3.35 1 (Debian)) id 1B4lMA-0004hQ-00; Sat, 20 Mar 2004 10:38:02 -0800 Received: from katie by newraff.debian.org with local (Exim 3.35 1 (Debian)) id 1B4lGN-0000VW-00; Sat, 20 Mar 2004 13:32:03 -0500 From: Joey Hess <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Katie: $Revision: 1.45 $ Subject: Bug#237467: fixed in prebaseconfig 0.58 Message-Id: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sender: Archive Administrator <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Sat, 20 Mar 2004 13:32:03 -0500 Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 2.60-bugs.debian.org_2004_03_12 (1.212-2003-09-23-exp) on spohr.debian.org X-Spam-Status: No, hits=-5.0 required=4.0 tests=BAYES_00,HAS_BUG_NUMBER autolearn=no version=2.60-bugs.debian.org_2004_03_12 X-Spam-Level: Source: prebaseconfig Source-Version: 0.58 We believe that the bug you reported is fixed in the latest version of prebaseconfig, which is due to be installed in the Debian FTP archive: prebaseconfig_0.58.dsc to pool/main/p/prebaseconfig/prebaseconfig_0.58.dsc prebaseconfig_0.58.tar.gz to pool/main/p/prebaseconfig/prebaseconfig_0.58.tar.gz prebaseconfig_0.58_all.udeb to pool/main/p/prebaseconfig/prebaseconfig_0.58_all.udeb A summary of the changes between this version and the previous one is attached.
