Ok,

I will add a boot-time option to disable usb-discover.

However, I would also like to improve usb-discover's handling of this
situation, eg stop it hanging on your hardware.

Can you tell me:
(1) the output of lspci and lspci -n
(2) lsmod the list of usb modules when the system is working; ie what
USB modules do you need?
