I don't remember about the cdrom. We need a nicely designed set of boot screens=20 that is easy to ready and not offputting, but also provides all the information a user could want, including boot options (on a separate screen). The one from the boot-floppies should be looked at for useful ideas, but it is really too wordy and too intimidating. A logo would be good too. Perhaps we should hold a contest.. --=20 see shy jo --8t9RHnE3ZwKMSgU+ Content-Type: application/pgp-signature; name="signature.asc" Content-Description: Digital signature Content-Disposition: inline -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.3 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE/h0ZKd8HHehbQuO8RAoaGAJkBHM71fX1V1OHfAr4i+1KvSq4RpwCgl8ne T0cq50uU++Vt7m5Ank/Zr84= =Z5lp -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --8t9RHnE3ZwKMSgU+-- --------------------------------------- Received: (at 215179-done) by bugs.debian.org; 17 Mar 2004 16:51:41 +0000 >From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Mar 17 08:51:41 2004 Return-path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Received: from dfproxy06.prodigy.net.mx (smtp.prodigy.net.mx) [148.235.168.22] by spohr.debian.org with esmtp (Exim 3.35 1 (Debian)) id 1B3eGb-0005pa-00; Wed, 17 Mar 2004 08:51:41 -0800 Received: from gwolf.org (du-200-67-231-205.prodigy.net.mx [200.67.231.205]) by SMTP.Prodigy.Net.mx (Sun Internet Mail Server sims.4.0.2001.07.26.11.50.p9) with ESMTP id <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; Wed, 17 Mar 2004 10:51:39 -0600 (CST) Received: by gwolf.org (Postfix, from userid 1000) id 09B234AFDD; Wed, 17 Mar 2004 10:51:13 -0600 (CST) Date: Wed, 17 Mar 2004 10:51:13 -0600 From: Gunnar Wolf <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: Closing bug (was: need fancy-pretty boot screens on the boot media) To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Message-id: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> MIME-version: 1.0 Content-type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-disposition: inline User-Agent: Mutt/1.3.28i Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 2.60-bugs.debian.org_2004_03_12 (1.212-2003-09-23-exp) on spohr.debian.org X-Spam-Status: No, hits=-2.0 required=4.0 tests=BAYES_00 autolearn=no version=2.60-bugs.debian.org_2004_03_12 X-Spam-Level: Hi, The Beta3 images of debian-installer already include a fancy-pretty boot screen.
