Selectd mirror http://ftp.it.debian.org (how can i test if the installer uses the network connection?) I can see (tail -f /target/var/log/debootstrap.log ) a relevant number of dependency problems during install, but i don't have a floppy disk on the powerbook. What can I do to send to you a copy of that file? debootstrap.err.log is empty The last error is: "/usr/sbin/debootstrap: 1: sleep: not found" But in /target/bin/ there is a file named "sleep" I do a integrity test on CD, the result is an error in /dists/sarge/main/binary-powerpc/Release If I continue (restarting from base system install) it fails with the error: "ln: /target/usr/bin/awk: File exists" I'm pleased to do more installation test.
