Comments/Problems:
My system is mostly SCSI with one ide drive. When I DON'T mount my ide drive (removable compact flash) the installation fails when creating file systems.
I get the red screen with this ------------------------------------------------------------------ The debootstrap program exited with an error (return value 1). You might find more information in /target/var/log/debootstrap.log ------------------------------------------------------------------
Heres what /target/var/log/debootstrap.log shows: ---------------------------------------- ln: /target/usr/bin/awk: File exists ----------------------------------------
OK, so I try the whole installation over again and this time I mount my ide drive to /flash. Everything works fine.
Somehow an UNMOUNTED ide drive on a SCSI system creates a problem during installation.
FWIW changing the hardware location (i.e. primary or secondary cable) of the ide drive does NOT help.
I also tried it with an ORDINARY IDE DISK DRIVE and got the same problem.
Otherwise GREAT JOB! on the installer.
